I use this ALL the time with Pop Secret kernels and peanut oil. So much better than microwave popcorn!

This unit stirs well and leaves very few un-popped kernels. I have tried several brands and had good results with all of them. I particularly like that the cooking pan is removable and submersible for easily cleaning. one small inconvenience is that the dome cover will not stay on unless it and the dome rim are completely clean and oil free.

I love that the cooking surface easily lifts off the heating base. This makes it so much easier to clean. This style of popper is the best I’ve encountered for popping the most kernels and distributing butter.

I bought the stir crazy popcorn machine and loved it but it only lasted a few months... this popcorn maker works much better! It's better designed and I'm very hopeful that it's gonna far out last the Stir-crazy popcorn machine

This was a replacement for a 1 1/2 year old unit where the dome started cracking. Daily use, makes great popcorn with 1 tbl oil, 1/3 cup popcorn. We don't use the butter feature on the dome. This Yabano unit is similar to original Stir Crazy design - I found the newer Stir Crazy designs with a steeper lid design trapped too much humidity resulting in less crisp popcorn; the Yabano with the classic dome design works well.

We love our popcorn maker. We have had an air popper in the past, but this one surpasses it in quality and speed, by far. We have not made popcorn any other way since we purchased this item. The kernels pop quickly and there is never a single kernel left unpopped. The cooking bowl doubles as a serving bowl which is fantastic because it means less dishes. We sadly dropped our bowl from the top shelf and it broke. (Totally our fault.) I reached out to the company’s customer service email on their website and worked with them to see if we were able to purchase a replacement bowl.

This popcorn popper is a great unit. It replaced an old one we had that worked just the same. It has large enough handles that you can easily pick up the whole unit to move it as well as the cooking plate with the clear dome. It works plenty fast too. I tend to add a bit more oil since I use a butter flavored oil.

purchased it to give it a try, yes it works, but I'm not sure how add flavors...any way its a nice upgrade from that popcorn make that blows hot air in you face.

I've had a variety of popcorn makers and this one is easily the best for the popcorn I enjoy. Popcorn made with oil, popcorn that is made the right way, not in a microwave. Popcorn where I choose all the ingredients.
The heat is around the outside edge, because the little spinner swirls the kernels out to the edge. A snap to clean the heating element and top in the dishwasher. I find the handles cool allowing an easy flip of the popped corn into the top for dumping into a large bowl.

This is so easy to use and clean way better then the air poppers we get back here in New zealand just plugged it into my drop down transformer 230 volts 50hz to USA 110 volts 60 hz 1000 watt as this popper runs at 800 watts had enough juice to run her she makes great tasty popcorn no stick in the throat husks recommend this to any one
